Classic Camp

Relive (or experience for the first time) the magic of summer camp! Designed for adults 50+, this experience is a mix of all the classic camp fun, including campfires, s’mores, canoeing, hiking, arts & crafts, and swimming and a chaplain led program.

After a full day at camp, relax in comfort! You’ll stay in hotel-style rooms at the Conference Center, complete with real beds, private bathrooms, and air conditioning.

  • This program runs Friday - Monday. We encourage all participants to stay for the full experience, but we understand that some may need to leave early. Adult-ish Camp

Adult-ish Camp is the perfect chance to experience the magic of summer camp as a young adult! Designed for young adults ages 18+, this long weekend at Waycross is all about fun, reflection, and connection. Spend your days canoeing, hiking, and enjoying campfires, or simply relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings. Whether you're seeking adventure or a relaxing break you can participate as much or as little as you’d like.

This program will offer a space to reflect on the transitions of young adulthood. With a mix of classic camp activities and opportunities for reflection, it’s a chance to step away from routine and connect with new and old friends.

August Quilt Camp

Join us for a cozy Quilting Retreat at Waycross! Bring your sewing machine and dive into uninterrupted stitching surrounded by fellow quilters. Enjoy time to “sew-cialize,” share tips and advice, and be inspired by one another’s creativity. We’ll add in a few quilting games and plenty of laughter to make this weekend both productive and fun!

All Y’all Come to Camp

Spend the weekend surrounded by nature, with classic camp activities like campfires, worship, games, and outdoor adventures - plus plenty of time to relax and unwind at your own pace. Whether you want to dive into all the action or simply enjoy the peaceful setting, this weekend is yours to enjoy.

Join us for a refreshing weekend filled with fun, adventure and community. Waycross staff will lead a variety of activities, and participants are encouraged to take part as much or as little as they like.

  • Attendance cost is calculated during online registration, depending on your lodging selection. Rates are per person and include program fees, lodging and meals.

Fall Volunteer Weekend

Join us for a weekend at Waycross helping to start new projects as well as with ongoing efforts around our facility! We’ll offer a variety of work for all skill levels. Bring your passion and talent for a fun, active, community filled weekend.

Volunteer Weekends are free and include meals and lodging. Registration is required so that we can make enough food to feed everyone!!

Fall Nature Retreat: Nature Journaling

Immerse yourself in the beauty of fall at Waycross during our Fall Nature Journaling Retreat. The vibrant colors of the changing seasons will provide the perfect backdrop for deep observation and creativity. This weekend retreat will offer a peaceful space to connect with the natural world, using art and journaling as tools to deepen your awareness of nature in the season of fall. Guided prompts, outdoor sketching sessions, and time spent exploring the colorful fall foliage will foster a deeper connection with nature and creation.

Fall Festival

This is a day for families and individuals to come explore and enjoy Waycross at the beginning of the fall! We’ll have a pumpkin patch, face painting, chili stations, three-legged races, craft & food vendors, hayrides, and so much more! Folk of all ages are invited to come and join in on the fun!

Artists, Writers & Readers Retreat

Come spend a weekend at Waycross to work on new or in-progress projects. Bring supplies and set up throughout our campus, spending the days working independently or with others, however is most fruitful for your creative process. In the evenings, there will be space for sharing, collaborating, and asking for feedback.
