About Waycross Summer Camp

Waycross Summer Camp has provided Episcopal summer camp programming for children and youth of all ages since 1957. We balance long-standing Waycross Camp traditions with new and interactive activities each session. Campers and staff build community while experiencing adventure and exploring the wonders of God’s creation.

Camp Staff

At Waycross we have a quality, professional and caring staff.  Staff members are chosen based on maturity, responsibility, and their experience working with children and teens. Prior to camp, staff members undergo training to develop teamwork skills, supervision skills and health procedures. Staff applications for summer 2025 are open!

Counselors-in-Training (CIT)

The CIT program builds high school youths' leadership skills while working alongside camp staff during a session. CITs help facilitate activities and behind-the-scenes operations. CITs also participate in daily leadership development sessions. See more about it on our “Sessions” page.
