Welcome to Waycross

Waycross is a summer camp and year-round conference center. We welcome groups that seek leadership development, spiritual growth or educational advancements. Everything from afternoon meetings to weekend conferences to week long retreats. We have a variety of living and meeting spaces. Additionally, we offer team building exercises with the use of our climbing wall, zip line, and low rope courses along with many other activities.

We host groups from Butler University, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School, Marian University,  Kiwanis International, Jesuit Volunteer Corp, Alpha Kappa Psi, Watercolor Society of Indiana, Baha'i School, Indy Bar Association, quilting groups, Extension Homemakers, and parish and vestry retreats for churches in the Diocese.

Waycross offers a residential Christian based summer camp that has been a cherished tradition since 1957. We host a variety of camps for kids from the ages of 7-17!

UDATE ON WAYNICK WELCOME CENTER: Waycross is delighted to be the sight designated to honor Bishop Cate Waynick and her time and service in the Diocese.  Work is underway to transform the Conference Center front building as the “Waynick Welcome Center” with upgrades and improvements to the way folks arrive at the Center, including signage, parking, lobby, offices, and public spaces.  Work should be completed by the end of this year and will make Waycross more welcoming to all who come here.
