Date
Forma will be Monday, January 27-Thursday, January 30, 2025. Waycross will offer lodging starting on Sunday, January 26th and conclude Friday, January 31st.
Locations
The entire conference will stream through Zoom so participants can join us online from anywhere. Waycross will be hosting Forma participants for an in-person opportunity! Forma content will still be through Zoom, and take place 1:30-5:00pm as we are in the Eastern Time Zone.
Theme
The theme for 2025, Come Away Together (Retirémonos Juntos) comes from Mark 6:31-32: "‘Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.’ ...And they went away in the boat to a deserted place by themselves." (NRSVA). Our plenaries will explore themes of rest, retreat, and Sabbath.

Lodging
Waycross has 2 lodging options available! Our Conference Center is “hotel style”, with 2 beds per bedroom and a private bathroom in each. Bed linens, towels, and soap/shampoo are included in these rooms.
The Main House is more “dorm style” featuring 1 downstairs room with private bath, and 4 upper level rooms that share 3 full bathrooms. Each room has 2-4 beds in a combination of twin and full beds, and some upper bunk beds. Bed linens and towels will be provided at the Main House.
All costs are per person and and include your lodging and meals (Monday lunch-Friday breakfast) while you are with us! There is an optional add on for Sunday, January 26th, if you’d like to arrive early.

*If you select a double occupancy room but do not indicate a roommate preference, you will be randomly paired with another double occupancy participant.
There is a 20% non-refundable deposit at the time you make your reservation. Registration will close January 10, 2025.
Why in person?
An in-person Forma experience will give you the opportunity to discuss the content with others at the Conference in-person, and give you time to reflect with less distractions from “the outside world”. Beyond that, as one of the few Episcopal Camp and Conference Centers in Province V, we hope that folks will use this opportunity to meet and get to know their neighbors outside of their own Diocese. With over 400 acres and several buildings at our main camp, we will have a variety of (optional) programming to offer outside of Forma program time. That tentative schedule can be found here.
Getting here!
Waycross is nestled in a rural valley in beautiful Brown County, Indiana. Navigating here can be a bit tricky, if you don’t prepare ahead of time. We recommend you make sure your GPS is pulled up before you start your journey, and take a few minutes to review our directions page. If you’re flying into the Indianapolis Airport, please let us know! We may be able to coordinate one (or a few) shuttle pick-ups.
Scholarships
The Diocese of Indianapolis has generously offered scholarship opportunities for those within the diocese. Please reach out to Heather Kenison for more information. If you are outside of the Indy Dio, we encourage you to reach out to your own Diocesan office to see what scholarships may be available. There are scholarships available for Forma registration as well, information can be found on their website.
