For young adults ages 18-30
See the flyer here
This retreat is the second of two offerings in 2019 for young adults ages 18-30, partially funded and supported by the United Thank Offering. Retreat participants will explore what it means to respect the dignity of every human being by celebrating the diversity of humanity created by God, recognizing racism, understanding its history and how that affects our present day, and beginning the work of dismantling it, with application to our own everyday conversations and relationships. Participants will walk away with tools to begin dismantling racism and practice reconciliation in their homes, churches, and communities. There will also be opportunities for fellowship, recreation, worship, and renewal at camp! This retreat will be facilitated in partnership with Shereetha Jackson, Katie Mcree, Sally Ulrey from the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta.
Thanks to generous grants we are able to offer this program for $50.00.
