Spring Clergy Conference

to Mar 27

Spring Clergy Conference

"Making Believe" or, "Just What Do We Think We're Doing?"

In this conference we'll explore the heart of the meaning of ordination in the church. What does it mean to be a living, communicating sign of the diaconal, priestly, episcopal ministry of the whole people of God? And how is it all made real in the regular gathering we call liturgy? We will consider the art of liturgical worship, its disciplines, history and future shape. Most importantly, as we anticipate the Easter Triduum, we will gather prayerfully to practice paying attention to the presence of the Dying and Rising Jesus in our midst and consider our stewardship of the liturgies that enact that great mystery year after year.
